The New Google Doodle Is a FREAKING GAME OF PAC-MAN

This weekend's Google doodle, commemorating the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man, takes the whole idea of the Google doodle to the next level. Actually, it just takes it to the first level—the banner's a playable, 256-level Pac-Man game

Google's new Pac-Man doodle—one of the custom logos the company posts every few days to celebrate a special occasion—brings back all the elements of the original—the ghosts, the fruits, and even the kill screen on level 256—and will be playable all weekend long, starting right now. Very cool, but I'm already looking forward to 2040 when the playable Red Dead Redemption Google doodle drops. Go play at Google.

Enters Adam, the 'iPad killer' made in India

Apple's iPad was, it's fair to say, awaited with the kind of breathless anticipation usually reserved by nubile nymphets for rakish rockers. But even as consumers rave about it, the technoscenti are already looking ahead ─ to a product that could make the iPad seem outdated, and, what's more, is completely Made in India.

India is, of course, regarded as a software superpower but hasn't really made waves in IT hardware so far. That could soon change, thanks to the Adam tablet PC of Hyderabad-based Notion Ink. Adam has generated enormous buzz on tech websites and gadget blogs ever since an early prototype was first demonstrated at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show), the world's largest consumer tech trade show in January this year.

It's Valentine's Day!

Today is February 14th, a day that millions of people have either been eagerly awaiting or much, much less eagerly expecting for months. Love it or hate it, it's Valentine's Day, a day for couples in countries around the world to break out the romance and show each other just how much they really care.

Flowers will be exchanged, candlelit dinners will be shared, and sweet nothings will be whispered in quite a few ears -- in short, love will most definitely be in the air.

Either with your friends or with your soul mate, hope you enjoy the day!

Buzz in Gmail

Today Google launched Google Buzz, another new way to start conversations about the things you find interesting and share updates, photos, videos and more. It is built right into Gmail. Gmail when launched five years ago was just an email. Later Google added chat and then video chat. Now social sharing has become valuable - people are sharing photos and videos with their family and friends, telling the world what they are up to. Now Buzz makes easier to share photos and videos, connect with other sites like flickr, Picasa, Google Reader, Twitter, so your friends and family can keep up with you all in one place.

Buzz is also available on your phone. When you are out on the move, you still can 'Buzz' on whats happening around you. Buzz for mobile brings location to the forefront and makes it easy to have conversations about places. In addition to checking out buzz from people you're following, you can also see nearby buzz from the people around you.

Here comes the iPad!

Last post I wrote about the internet search giant - Google's, newly launched smartphone, The Nexus One.

Now Apple has gone a step ahead by launching a tablet computer called iPad. Apple will start shipping iPad at the end of March in United States. It features a near 10 inch display, 3GS iPhone OS, an in-built safari browser, mail support, multi-touch interaction with print, video, photo, and audio multimedia, iPod App, iBook, 3-axis Accelerometer, A-GPS and many more.

iPad will be available in US from $499 onwards. Indian consumers maybe have to wait till the end of the year to get their hands on it.
